High School Admissions

 

• Tuesday, October 6, 2026: High School Application, LaGuardia Application, and Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT) Registration Opens

• Friday, October 30, 2026: SHSAT Registration Closes

• Friday, December 4, 2026: High School and LaGuardia Applications Close

• Wednesday, March 3, 2027: High School Offer Release

 

Middle School Admissions

 

• Wednesday, October 14, 2026: Middle School Application Opens

• Monday, November 2, 2026: Deadline to register to test for Mark Twain I.S. 239 (21K239) and District 21 Talent Tests

• Friday, December 11, 2026: Middle School Application Closes

• Wednesday, April 7, 2027: Middle School Offer Release

 

Kindergarten Admissions

• Friday, January 22, 2027: Kindergarten Application Closes

• Tuesday, March 30, 2027: Kindergarten Offer Release 

 

3-K and Pre-K Admissions

• Wednesday, January 13, 2027: 3-K and Pre-K Applications Open

• Friday, February 26, 2027: 3-K and Pre-K Applications Close

• Tuesday, May 11, 2027: Pre-K Offer Release

• Tuesday, May 18, 2027: 3-K Offer Release

 

Gifted & Talented (G&T) Grade 1-4 Admissions

 

• Monday, April 19, 2027: G&T Upper Grade Application Opens

• Friday, May 7, 2027: G&T Upper Grade Application Closes

• Thursday, June 10, 2027: G&T Upper Grade Offer Release

 

2-K Admissions

 

• The fall 2-K application timeline will be shared later in the year, along with the list of districts that will be offering 2-K.

  

Summer Rising Admissions
