Joint Public Hearing: Broadway Educational Campus (LMC)

The Office of District Planning is holding a JOINT PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday evening, April 14 to get input from the public on two proposals regarding school sitings on the Broadway Educational Campus, on 26 Broadway in Downtown Manhattan. This is the campus where LMC (Lower Manhattan Community Middle School) sits. The hearing starts at 6pm and will be held on-line.

The first proposal is the Proposed Closure of The Urban Assembly School of Business for Young Women (02M316) in Building M282 Following the Conclusion of the 2025-2026 School Year.

The second proposal is the Proposed Opening and Co-location of Next Generation Technology High School (02M426) with Richard R. Green High School of Teaching (02M580) and Lower Manhattan Community Middle School (02M896) in Building M282 Beginning in the 2026-2027 School Year.
